Cumberland Perry Area Career and Technical Center (CPACTC)

Starting in 10th grade, students may attend CPACTC. Beginning in the 9th grade, students may apply for admission to a vocational technical program at CPACTC by completing the online application during November of the preceding year. Students attend CPACTC in the morning and return to West Perry in the afternoon for required academic subjects. The application process begins in October of each academic year and is open to 9th and 10th grade students to attend the following school year.

Scheduling and Graduation Information:
1. Students may earn four (4) credits each year for successful coursework completion at CPACTC. If a student takes a social studies course at CPACTC, then s/he will receive one (1) credit for social studies and three (3) credits for the vocational program. Students may earn a maximum of three (3) credits at West Perry in the afternoon, totaling seven (7) credits per year.

2. Students must pass all required courses on their schedule each year in order to meet graduation requirements. With limited time at West Perry High School, it is difficult to make up failed courses while attending CPACTC.

3. Failing the vocational program class results in removal from the program for the following year. Please note 70% is considered passing at CPACTC.
